Launch of Momentum a New Digital Mental Health Platform for Youth
We are excited to announce the launch of Momentum, a new digital mental health platform for children and adolescents aged 7 to 17. Created through a collaboration led by the University of Southern Queensland, Momentum offers tailored online programs to help young individuals cope with anxiety, depression, and improve overall well-being. This platform, co-designed with input from young users, parents and caregivers, and mental health professionals, equips users with tools and techniques for self-help, accessible from home at their own pace.

Jay Court, THIS WAY UP‘s digital mental health engagement lead, explores how clinicians are increasingly integrating digital solutions into routine care. Drawing on conversation with a nationwide network of over 30,000 clinicians, Jay discusses the evolving attitudes and common questions surrounding digital mental health treatments. This shift highlights a significant development in mental health care, showcasing the growing acceptance of digital practices within the professional community.
Introducing “People Like You” A New Podcast Series by SANE
Hosted by SANE Ambassador Cam Solnordal, the new podcast “People Like You” delves into the realities of severe and long-term mental health challenges. Launched in 2024, this series, a collaboration between SANE StigmaWatch and Mindframe, features heartfelt discussions with individuals, their families, and support people. Each episode promotes understanding and dismantles stereotypes, inviting listeners to see the shared humanity in all of us.

About Mello
Mello is a recently launched app, developed by Orygen Digital, to help young people break free from stuck thinking, to target symptoms of anxiety and depression. The symptom management and wellbeing tool incorporates evidence-based strategies from CBT, ACT, MCT, MBCT and DBT. It is designed for people aged 16-25, but it is also accessible to those outside this age group.
